The whole Teselecta thing was a MASSIVE cop out and an extremely stupid and weak way to end the show’s amazing, otherwise perfect season.

Now for a few positives, just cause.

• I dug the whole “All of history happening at once” thing and the episode was fun.
• Amy saving Rory’s ass
• Amy “proposing” to Rory
• Rose Tyler reference
• The Brigadier’s death. It was very sad but I was happy to see a connection to Classic Who (and in a way that clearly had an impact on The Doctor)
• Train office. I want one.

But from a storytelling standpoint, I feel the episode was a huge, poorly executed disappointment and an absolute failure. 

I need to watch it again and see if my opinion changes. Because, trust me. I am the first person to leap to the defense of this show, Steven Moffat’s writing, the fifth series, and especially the sixth series which I think up until the finale was nearly flawless.

The oldest question is “Will you marry me?”

River will kill Rory and not The Doctor. I don’t know how, Rory will probably find a way to take The Doctor’s place. Rory is “the good man” that went to war (The Doctor does not consider himself a good man) and is the “good man” / “very best man” that River kills.

No I will not elaborate :p. I am most likely wrong. :p
